so i don’t know if you’ve got ten minutes to blow, but i’m at work “blogging,” so obviously i do. but anyway, this is the video that roman coppola did for phoenix’s “funky squaredance,” in 2002, which is the weirdest song they’ve probably ever made. the beginning is a robot folk song about being dead, the middle is kind of lame, then there’s a metal guitar solo and at the end it’s total groove city. and it’s almost ten minutes long, so there.

anyway, i’m not a huge fan of roman coppola or anything, and we can all guess why he did this video for them, but hey, i think it’s funny. there’s a clip of a scooter trick and he gives you a restaurant recommendation, so it’s kind of worth it for that.

also, the museum of modern art in new york bought the rights to this video or something, so now you’re getting some artsy culture bullshit, too.
